- I was not put on this earth to pay bills until I die.
- I need to get myself out of the cycle of paying bills until I die.
I am 27 years old and I just signed my letter of offer for a second job, because, you know, life is expensive. More expensive than it really should be. This is definitely not the place I thought I’d be in a few months after buying a house and a dog and getting the things we had been working for, but here we are.
My 27th birthday was a few weeks ago and it looks like 27 is going to be a year of work, which sounds pretty overwhelming if you ask me. Sure I have trips and weddings to go to, but I will mostly be putting my head down and working, and it scares me.
I’ve created this blog to get back to my writing on a larger scale than the quarterly book reviews I do for Prairie Books NOW! (available for free at many bookstores and libraries across the prairies, or here). I am hoping to post a wide variety of posts, but we’ll see how it goes. My amazing mum just gave me my first sewing machine, and I can’t wait to get the time to sit down and get to know it, so I’ll be sure to blog about that.
In the meantime, I have to put my head down and work

Graateful for sharing this
