Sometimes you try your best to beat the rain and fail miserably. Today was one of those days!

While SO and I were taking our dog for a walk, it all of a sudden went from  lightly misting to full on torrential  downpour! I don’t know about all of you, but I’m not a big fan of rain (my Scottish ancestors would be so disappointed!) so this was not my idea of a great walk! Another unfortunate part of it was our dog requires long walks, and we were no where close to the house when the downpour started!

Our dog (who also isn’t a huge fan of the rain) was so happy when we decided to run back to the house! He’s still a pup so we can’t run with him on the leash yet (vet advised), so he was more than happy to splash through all the puddles on the way back!

The best part is, as I’m writing this, the sun is shining and the rain is gone! Sometimes you just don’t get any of the luck!
