I know this song is the “song of the summer” for a lot of people, but it definitely is the song of Summer 2016 for me! When SO and I were travelling west in July, every time we hopped in the truck, this song would come on! This song makes me think of the great times we had on that trip and how grateful I am that we were able to take this first out of province trip as a couple! Three years in and we’ve only traveled within the province together – while each of us had taken other out of province and country trips on our own.
My favourite thing about music is that is hols so many memories, some songs bring back times you are glad to leave behind and others you hold dear to your heart and love to look back on. This song will be one of those happy ones for me!

Oh yeah I know it’s SO overplayed on our radio stations her in the UK. And yet I still sing-a-long to it lol glad he’s back, I hope the album (when it’s eventually released) is just as good! He doesn’t usually disappoint so I’m not worried ☺️
