Hello everyone! Welcome to my first post in my 12 Days of Christmas series!

We took G to get Santa pictures at Cabela’s Edmonton South, and well, it didn’t go as we had hoped! (More on the details at the bottom of the post!)

If you remember G’s picture last year, he wasn’t too keen on Santa:

This year, unfortunately, it was more of the same! G was fine walking up to Santa, but as soon as Santa put him on his lap, the screaming started.

This poor Santa! G started a cascade of crying kids, (sorry!) and the next 3-4 kids all cried when they sat on Santa’s lap.

I feel as if this continues, I’m going to have quite a large collection of crying Santa pictures that I might have to make a collage to include as part of my Christmas decorations!

Luckily for us, we didn’t have to pay any money for this #SantaPictureFail, because Cabela’s is putting on their FREE Santa’s Wonderland. Head over to your local Cabela’s and get a ticket for a time slot from the elves, and get a FREE 4×6 picture, (affordable packages available for additional prints), a free craft, colouring sheets, letter to Santa activity and plush toy while supplies last! It is perfect for a practise run with Santa, or for a quick family picture in a calmer environment, they only have a certain amount of tickets available per time slot and there were only a few people ahead of us in line when we went and it was a Saturday!

Huge shoutout to this poor Santa and the staff at Cabela’s for trying their best to get a happier picture out of G, but this is what we were destined to get!
