IHOP’s ‘The Kid Who Would Be King’ event and a GIVEAWAY (Closed)

Hello everyone! This past weekend Jared, G and myself were invited to our first promo event! We attended IHOP’s event promoting the new movie from Fox – ‘ The Kid Who Would Be King’, we got to taste their special menu and test out their Pancake Squad App!

*Disclaimer – we were invited to this event and given a meal free of charge, in exchange for Instagram posts and other posts as per our discretion*

It was such a great event! G got to try his first real sugary meal (and oh my goodness the sugar high was crazy!) but despite being randomly antisocial when we first arrived, he had a great time once he ate! the two special menu items for kid’s are Merlin’s Milkshake, a chocolate milkshake with whipped cream, chocolate drizzle and a sugar cookie Excalibur:

And King of Pancakes, pancakes with hazelnut spread, banana slices, and a sugar cookie Excalibur:

They were delicious! (Yes, I took a taste of G’s meal). Jared and I picked other breakfast meals for ourselves.

We also got a chance to check out IHOP’s Pancake Squad app, that provides lots of interactive fun in and out of IHOP locations!

My favourite part of it is definitely the Flying Pancake game (sort of like Flappy Bird) but my score wasn’t amazing (47, I suck at games!), I wonder if you could beat my score!

The Giveaway (CLOSED)

The organizers of the event gave all of the media participants a $20 gift card to give away to our readers, so I am hosting a simple giveaway here!

      I’m just keeping it Canadian to save the value of the gift card ☺️ it says it’s $20 CAD so I don’t want it converting low for someone out of the country 🙃

  5. My favourite way to have pancakes is with the people I care about! I’ve made a habit of going out for breakfast (typically at IHOP) when one of my close friends visits from the US!
