The story behind 5 of my Instagram posts!

Hello everyone! So today is my due date, which means I wrote this post weeks ago in hopes that I’ll be at the hospital with my little one. Check out my Twitter, Facebook Page and Instagram for any updates!

For today’s post, I’m going to tell you the back stories to five of my Instagram posts, because really, you can only say so much on Instagram!

While I had been feeling baby kicks for a long time at this point, it never happened while there was other people around! This was the first day that Jared felt our baby kick, and he was kind of weirded out by it! When Bomber realized that we were making a fuss over my belly, he hopped up on Jared’s lap and put his paw on my belly! After a few swift kicks, he pulled his paw back and stared at me as if to say ‘that was effed up!’ And he then left the couch!

It was a really cute moment!

If you’ve ever trained a puppy, you know that patience is a very hard skill to train! When we found out I was pregnant, our main goal was to train our ever growing Bomber not to rush the door, that’s what we spent so much time working on him waiting on the couch to be invited to the door or waiting to be greeted, and it finally started to consistently pay off. He now heads to the door to see who it is, then Books it to his spot on the couch! It’s a wonderful feeling that it’s sticking!

Friends of ours put on a foam party in their garage every summer, and while this year was a totally sober party, it was as fun as usual! Unfortunately that night Jared and I locked ourselves out of the house and had to bust the doorknob to get in.. but up until that point it was a great night!

While this one is pretty self explanatory, but this summer planning and preparing for our family was the highlight of my summer!

A throw back post! This is me on September 2nd, 1990. The day of my parents’ first wedding anniversary. I was almost 2 years old, an only child and keeper of the champagne while my Grandma wasn’t ready for everyone to have it yet! This was back when our family wasn’t so big, and we had champagne at every occasion – we’ve grown so much that it isn’t as feesible as it once was! My parents aren’t big on pictures so this is the picture I share every year on their anniversary! Mostly because it’s hilarious!
