Hello everyone! If you’re a Mom like me, you like to know exactly what goes into your child(ren)’s food and snacks! I make a lot of G’s snacks from scratch so I can basically control exactly what goes into them, but also have some fun with them in the process! Today I’m going to talk about the fun popsicles I’ve been making for G!
Here’s what you’ll need:
⁃ Blender or food processor
Any combination of:
⁃ Fruit (fresh, frozen or canned)
⁃ Caffeine-free herbal tea
⁃ Apple Sauce (flavour of your choice)
Here’s what I do:
In an effort to introduce G to different flavours and flavour combinations, I’ve been playing around with the combinations. Here are a few a I’ve done recently that G loved:
⁃ Blended Peaches with Peach Tea
⁃ Blended berries with Strawberry tea
⁃ Blended Blood oranges, raspberries with Peach tea
⁃ Blended Blueberries, Blueberry Apple Sauce and Peach Tea
And my one attempt that G wasn’t so into but I really liked:
⁃ Blended Strawberry with Rose Hip and Hibiscus Tea
I know some people just drop pieces of fruit into their popsicles, but I wanted to make enough for popsicles and then put the excess into a juice jug for fun smoothie drinks without all of the sugar of store bought ones!

Making popsicles and smoothies are so much fun! In this batch I have added: peaches, @motts Fruitsations + Veggies (apple, peach and carrot) apple sauce and @davidstea Forever Nuts tea (using their juice jug that I’ve had for years and is in constant use in our house!) G is LOVING this flavour combination (moulds from @ikeacanada)🥰☀️ • • • • #yegger #yegblogger #albertamamas #yeg #yeggers #momsofig #momsofboy #mommyblogger #homemadepopsicles #popsicles #stayhome #socialdistancing
