Last week I received a message via my Instagram from Aveeno Canada saying they wanted to discuss my use and opinion on their product, after my Pregnant Skin Care Routine post came out, with a phone number and reference number to speak to a representative. At first I was freaking out, what if somehow I caught Aveeno’s attention with my blog and they wanted to work together (a woman with a small-time blog can only hope you know – I was already approached by one brand that pulled out fast when they realized I am Canadian *sigh*)?
That wasn’t exactly what they wanted to talk to me about.
The real reason was kind of even better!
After seeing on my blog and my Instagram that I was pregnant, they got in contact with me to make sure the Lot Numbers of the lotions (x)(x) I was using were problem free and safe for my pregnancy! They also wanted to extend their congratulations and thank me for continuing to use their product throughout my pregnancy! They are even going to send me a bunch of coupons and samples for the baby and I (and they were super excited when I said I had already been stocking up on their Fragrance Free Lotion and Baby Soap).
Needless to say I’m pretty impressed.
I didn’t catch the name of the man I talked to (EDIT: Brian G), but he was one of the sweetest people I’ve had the pleasure to have a conversation with! It’s not very often that you hear of a company reaching out to their customers to make sure the product is right for them!
Not that I was looking to switch, but Aveeno definitely has earned my family and I as customers for a very long time! Also, any brand that is good enough for Jennifer Aniston is good enough for me! 😛
